Katana is a decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Ronin blockchain. Katana enables users to swap tokens that are commonly used on Ronin. While the current selection of available liquidity pools is limited, more pools will be added in the future to provide users with more options. If you're interested in learning more about how to use Katana, you can find a detailed guide here.
Available Liquidity Pools
There are currently 4 main pools available for swap:
- RON/AXS
- RON/SLP
- RON/WETH
- RON/USDC
- and more side liquidity pools.
Users can exchange their tokens using any of the options that are available on the platform. Katana will carry out a two-pool swap for you automatically. It is important to note that since this process requires two separate swaps, you will be charged a transaction fee for each of them.
Swapping FAQ
How do I swap?
Please see this article for a step-by-step guide on how to swap tokens via Katana.
How much does it cost to swap?
To exchange tokens using Katana, the cost is broken down as follows: a charge of 0.25% for the pool provider and an additional 0.05% for Axie Treasury, resulting in a total fee of 0.30%.
Why didn't I receive the precise amount of tokens expected?
There are two reasons why the exact amount of tokens were not received:
Firstly, there is a fee associated with swapping coins from the liquidity pool. This fee is intended to reward the members who provide liquidity to the pool, as well as support the Axie Infinity community.
Secondly, slippage can occur during the trade process when swapping coins from one to another, causing changes in prices which may result in a variance from the expected amount of tokens.
Pool FAQ
How do I add to the liquidity pool?
Please see this article to learn more about providing liquidity.
What pools can I provide liquidity to?
- RON/AXS
- RON/SLP
- RON/WETH
- RON/USDC
- and more side liquidity pools.
What is meant by providing liquidity?
Providing liquidity involves loaning an equal amount of tokens based on their USD value to the pools, which ensures that other members can exchange their tokens. By contributing your coins to the pool, you earn fees based on the proportion of your contribution to the pool during the loan period.
What rewards can liquidity providers expect?
By providing liquidity, you will receive a fee that is proportionate to the amount of tokens you contribute to the pool. The fee is distributed as LP tokens, which can be used in the pools with the "lightning" icon (⚡) for additional RON rewards.
Is there a minimum requirement to participate in the pools?
Yes, there is a minimum number of tokens that must be met in order to join the liquidity pools. Please see below for the minimum token requirements.
Pool | Min Amount |
RON/WETH | 1 RON |
RON/SLP | 10 SLP |
RON/AXS | 0.01 AXS |
RON/USDC | 1 USDC |
Side liquidity pools also have their own minimum token requirements. They may vary depending on which one you choose. The UI will alert you regarding the minimum token requirements.
What is the Ronin Innovation Zone?
The Ronin Innovation Zone is a designated area on Katana where users can access newer, more volatile tokens. Tokens in this zone are labeled with either Main Tags or Seed Tags.
What are Main Tags and Seed Tags?
Main Tags identify more established tokens, while Seed Tags are assigned to tokens with higher volatility, lower liquidity, or a more experimental nature.

How often can I claim my rewards?
Rewards can be claimed once every 24 hours.
