Ronin App Features
Ronin Block Explorer
The Ronin Block Explorer is like a search engine for the Ronin blockchain. It allows you to view transactions, track wallet activity, and explore blockchain data in real-time.
Key Features of the Block Explorer
-
Multi-function Search: Find specific transactions, addresses, contracts, and blocks using the search bar. One specific use case is to track a payment to confirm if it was successful by searching an address or a transaction hash.
- Transaction History: See live updates and complete logs on transactions, including: sender and receiver details, gas fees, date & time, etc.
-
Metrics at a Glance:
- Total wallet addresses on Ronin.
- Number of transactions completed.
- Average block time.
- Live price and market data for RON.
-
Explore by Category:
- Accounts: Check wallet balances and recent activity.
- Tokens: Discover details about tokens like RON, AXS, and SLP; and NFTs like Axies and Land.
- Contracts: Browse smart contracts deployed on Ronin.
-
Analytics: Access visual data insights into Ronin’s blockchain activity.
Katana (Decentralized Exchange)
Katana is Ronin's decentralized exchange (DEX), designed to make trading tokens simple and affordable.
Key Features
- Token Swaps: Instantly exchange one token for another. For example, you can swap your AXS for RON tokens to pay transaction fees.
- Liquidity Pools: Earn rewards by adding tokens to liquidity pools. This helps facilitate trades on Katana while generating income from fees.
- Analytics: View real-time data about token prices and liquidity pool performance via 3rd party platforms.

Ronin Bridge
The Ronin Bridge is a tool for transferring assets between the Ronin blockchain and other networks, like Ethereum and Base. It is essential for moving tokens such as RON, SLP, or AXS to and from Ronin.
How the Ronin Bridge Works
- The Ronin Bridge enables you to seamlessly transfer assets between the Ronin blockchain and other networks. You can deposit assets from external blockchains, such as Ethereum, into your Ronin wallet to begin using them within the ecosystem. Similarly, you can withdraw tokens from your Ronin wallet back to other networks if needed. To keep track of all your transfers, the bridge provides a detailed transaction history for better tracking and transparency. For step-by-step instructions, check out How to Deposit to Ronin and How to Withdraw from Your Ronin Wallet.
Bridge types in Ronin
-
Legacy Bridge - is Ronin’s traditional bridge solution that has different flows for deposit and withdrawal.
- Deposit - you simply need to sign the transaction with your ETH wallet to complete the deposit to Ronin. Learn the steps here.
- Withdrawal - you need to initiate the bridge transaction in Ronin, then you need to finalize it via another transaction in Ethereum. Learn the steps here.
- CCIP Bridge - powered by Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), this bridge allows seamless, decentralized token transfers with enhanced security and reliability. Unlike the legacy bridge, CCIP bridge only needs one transaction from the source network to complete the bridging of assets.
RON Staking
The RON Staking feature allows you to actively participate in securing the Ronin network while earning rewards. You can stake your RON tokens by selecting a validator and delegating your tokens to them. In return, you’ll receive staking rewards based on the performance of your chosen validator.

Ronin ID
Also known as Ronin Name Service (RNS), Ronin ID is a wallet naming service that makes blockchain interactions personal and user-friendly. It simplifies transactions by making it easier to identify wallets, especially when sending tokens.
Your Ronin ID replaces your long hexadecimal Ronin address with a simple name like skymavis.ron
This feature also enables social integration, allowing you to use your Ronin ID seamlessly across Ronin-supported platforms. Additionally, you can manage your ID by updating or renewing it whenever needed, ensuring it remains personalized and up to date.

Governance
Ronin’s governance ensures the network and bridge operations are managed through decentralized voting mechanisms. Both Governing Validators and Bridge Operators play key roles in maintaining the ecosystem's integrity and functionality.
Governance Page Interface
- View Proposals: See all current proposals for changes or improvements.
- Review History: Access past voting results to see the decisions for each proposal.
Two Types of Governance in Ronin
-
Network Governance
- Governing Validators oversee critical network changes, such as updating smart contracts, adding or removing validators, and other essential updates. Proposals are initiated by a governor, and approval requires at least 70% of the governors to vote in favor. The voting process is serial by design, meaning only one proposal can be voted on at a time, and it must be resolved before moving to the next. Conceptually, the governor acts as a cold wallet, providing oversight, while the validator serves as a hot wallet, executing operations.
-
Bridge Governance
- The bridge governance process similarly operates via a decentralized voting system, where each bridge operator is assigned a corresponding governor address for proposing and voting. Operators can propose actions such as pausing the bridge, adding or removing operators, and updating withdrawal thresholds. A proposal is approved and executed if at least 70% of the operators vote in favor. Like network governance, the bridge follows a serial voting structure, ensuring that only one proposal is active at a time.
