Ronin Profile - Handles

Your Ronin Profile handle acts as a unique @username for your profile, making it easier for others to search for and view your profile across the Ronin ecosystem. This handle is directly linked to an existing Ronin Name Service [RNS] domain you own.

You need a Ronin Name Service [RNS] domain to use handles. If you don’t have one yet, check out our guide on how to get one.

What is a Ronin Profile Handle?

The Ronin Profile Handle is a user-friendly identifier, similar to a social media handle (e.g., @Jihoz).

  • It becomes your public identity in the Ronin Profiles system.
  • It allows other users to easily search for and view your profile.

⚠ Important Note: Your Ronin Profile handle is only valid and active as long as the linked Ronin Name Service [RNS] domain remains active and is held in your Ronin Wallet. If the RNS domain expires or is transferred out of your wallet, your handle will become inactive.

How to Set Up Your Ronin Profile Handle

Follow these simple steps to link an RNS domain to your Ronin Profile and establish your unique handle:

Step 1: Navigate to your Ronin Profile by clicking Profile in the Ronin Web Wallet site.

Step 2: Look for the profile handle section and click the "Claim your unique handle!" prompt. You can also click Set up on your profile information.

Step 3: A list of your available RNS domains [e.g., buba.ron] will appear. These are the RNS names currently registered to your connected Ronin Wallet addresses. Select the RNS name you wish to use as your official handle, then click on Set as handle.

If you don’t have any RNS domains yet, you’ll be redirected to the RNS site to register an RNS to use as your handle.

Once you have selected, this RNS domain will now be displayed as your public Ronin Profile handle [e.g., buba.ron > @buba], enabling a more social and recognizable identity.

Changing Your Ronin Profile Handle

You may change your Ronin Profile handle at any time in your Profile Settings page.

Step 1: To change your handle, click Edit in your profile page.

Step 2: Click on the Pencil icon in the handle section, and reselect the RNS you want to use as your handle.

Using Ronin Profile Handles to Find Users

Once you and other users have set up your respective Ronin Profile handles, you can leverage them to easily navigate to and check each other’s Ronin Profiles.

Use the designated search bar in the Ronin Web Wallet to search for other users by typing their handles [e.g., @buba].
