Ronin Arcade - Referral Guide

This guide explains how the referral bonus system works for Battle Pass purchases and gifts during the Ronin Arcade event. It covers how referrals are tracked, when confirmation is needed, and how referral points are earned.

There are two ways to gain referral bonuses in the Ronin Arcade:

• Referral via Battle Pass Purchase – You earn a referral when someone uses your referral link to buy a Battle Pass. 
• Referral via Battle Pass Gifting – You earn a referral for each Battle Pass you gift to another account.

More details on the flow and how they work are described below.

Referrals via Battle Pass Purchase

To understand how the referrals work on direct purchases, the flow is broken down into the following steps:

Step 1. Sharing the referral link

User A (the referrer) shares their referral link with others.

To find your referral link, go to the Ronin Arcade page and scroll down to see a Referral Bonus section where the link can be copied.

Step 2. Clicking the link

User B (the referee) clicks User A’s referral link.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
(i) If User B clicks multiple referral links from different people, 
the system won’t immediately decide who the valid referrer is.
That decision happens only when the Battle Pass is purchased.

(ii) Referral tracking works across devices. The valid referrer will ALWAYS be
the most recent referral link clicked before the purchase.

EXAMPLES FOR USERS WITH MULTIPLE DEVICES: 
(1) User B clicked ref link of user A on desktop →
(2) User B then clicked ref link of user C on mobile →
(3) User B went back to desktop to buy Battle Pass →
(4) The valid referrer is User C

Step 3. Buying the Battle Pass

Once User B buys a Battle Pass from the Ronin Arcade page, the system finally assigns the valid referrer as the last referral link clicked before the purchase.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Battle Pass bought through other methods 
(such as direct smart contract calls) do not count toward referral tracking.

Referrals via Battle Pass Gift

To understand how the referrals work on gifting, the flow is broken down into the following steps:

Step 1. Gifting the Battle Pass

User A (the referrer) gifts a Battle Pass to User B (the receiver).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The receiver must have a Ronin Profile to be eligible.

Step 2. Checking referral validity

The valid referrer is the first person who gifts a Battle Pass (from the Ronin Arcade page) to the receiver. If the receiver already owns a Battle Pass when gifted, the referral is invalid.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
(i) Battle Pass gifts sent through other methods 
(like smart contract calls) are not applicable.

(ii) The system does not automatically block invalid gifts
due to technical limitations at the Profile level so please
verify with the intended referee to avoid issues.

Will Referee Be Required to Confirm Referral Information?

Whether referral confirmation is required depends on how the payment was made.

When buying a Battle Pass - if the referee pays using an external wallet, they will need to sign a transaction to confirm the referral.

When gifting a Battle Pass - if the referrer pays using an external wallet, they will need to sign a transaction to confirm the referral.

For the cases that need referral confirmation, you will see a similar confirmation prompt as above.

Earning Referral Points

Once the referrer is validated, points are added instantly. The total referral count and points update in real time as milestones are reached.

Shown below are the points earned for each friend referral milestones.

Tallied points are shown in the table below.

The maximum number of eligible referrals to earn points is capped at 20. Referrals beyond 20 will not add more points.

To check your referrals, click on the count (e.g., 3 friends) below the Referral bonus. For referrals with Ronin Profile, you will see a button next to their name to direct you to their profile page.
