Overview
Trait Offers are an upgraded version of the Collection Offers feature. It allows buyers to place offers on NFTs with specific traits instead of the entire collection. This helps buyers focus their bids on the exact types of NFTs they want.
To protect both buyers and sellers from potential metadata-related issues, a metadata verification process is used. When a seller accepts a Trait Offer, both the NFT and the buyer’s WRON are locked until the trait match is confirmed. If the metadata matches the buyer’s selected trait, then the transaction completes, and the seller will be able to claim their funds and release the NFT to the buyer. If not, the NFT is returned to the seller.

Once accepted by a seller:
- Once an offer is accepted by a seller, an Order is established.
- This Order functions as an escrow, temporarily holding the seller's NFT and the buyer's WRON during the metadata verification process, ensuring security until completion.
Note: A single Offer may include multiple Orders from different sellers. Each Order can be monitored individually via the offer’s detailed view, which is represented by an Eye icon.
FAQs

Currently, Trait Offers only support single-trait offers. You may create separate offers for different traits.

Yes, as long as your WRON balance can cover them.
Why is my offer inactive?
Offers become inactive if your WRON runs out and will reactivate when your balance is restored.
Can I fulfill multiple offers at the same time?
Currently, only one offer can be fulfilled at a time. Support for bulk fulfillment is being considered for future updates.
Can I edit a Trait Offer after creating it?
No, you must cancel the existing offer and create a new one.
Why was my NFT rejected from a Trait Offer?
The NFT’s trait did not match the offer’s requirements during the metadata match verification process.
Is there any deadline to claim funds once the order is complete?
Yes, after one day (24 hours), if the order is not claimed, it will expire. If that happens, the NFT will be returned to the seller and funds to the buyer.
